Located inside Rosewood Amsterdam’s historic former Palace of Justice, Advocatuur transforms the building’s legal heritage into one of the city’s most original cocktail experiences. Rich colours, intimate rooms and portraits by renowned Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn create an atmosphere that feels luxurious, artistic and slightly rebellious.

At the heart of the bar is its own distillery, where the signature PRØVO jenever is produced with botanicals including ginger, citrus, rose and milk oolong tea. This distinctly Dutch spirit appears throughout the innovative cocktail menu, alongside adventurous combinations involving ingredients such as matcha, clarified tropical fruit, palo santo and fermented rhubarb. Indian-inspired bar bites and dishes from the tandoor oven complement the drinks.

The evening begins with the atmosphere of a sophisticated hotel lounge before gradually becoming livelier through a soundtrack of neo-soul, jazz-hop and future funk.
