Bakers & Roasters is one of Amsterdam's most famous breakfast and brunch destinations. Founded in 2013 by New Zealanders Ed Borst and Natasha, the restaurant introduced Amsterdam to a unique combination of New Zealand café culture and colourful Brazilian influences. The first location opened in De Pijp and quickly became one of the city's most popular brunch spots. The menu features signature dishes such as Eggs Benedict, ricotta hotcakes, huevos rancheros and freshly baked cakes, all accompanied by specialty coffee roasted with great care. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of New Zealand cafés, the restaurant focuses on fresh ingredients, generous portions and warm hospitality. Due to its enormous popularity, a second location was later opened near the National Maritime Museum.
