Blik Amsterdam is one of the city's newest fine dining destinations and occupies the former home of the legendary Lion Noir. Opened in 2025, the restaurant is the result of a collaboration between successful Amsterdam restaurateur Tijn Verstappen and three-Michelin-star chef Jacob Jan Boerma. Together they created a modern bistro where classic dishes are reinterpreted with contemporary techniques and high-quality local ingredients. Spread over two floors, Blik combines a lively bar, an open kitchen and an impressive wine selection with warm interiors featuring wood, earthy colours and elegant details. One of its greatest assets is the hidden French courtyard garden, an oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling Reguliersdwarsstraat.
