Cannibale Royale
About
Cannibale Royale
Cannibale Royale Lange Niezel brings the restaurant’s signature combination of grilled meat, cocktails and late-night energy to the heart of Amsterdam’s historic Red Light District. Located only a few minutes’ walk from Central Station, this branch attracts a lively mixture of local diners, international visitors and groups beginning or ending their night in the city centre.
The interior is dark, atmospheric and deliberately unconventional, with vintage decorations, unusual curiosities and an energetic soundtrack. It feels more like a late-night drinking den than a conventional steakhouse, making it equally suitable for a full dinner or a long evening involving food, cocktails and craft beer.
Meat from the grill is the main attraction. The menu revolves around steaks, slow-cooked ribs, generously topped burgers and sharing platters. Complete the meal with indulgent sides such as fries, sweet potato fries, grilled vegetables or macaroni and cheese. Starters and bar bites include dishes such as steak tartare, chicken wings and garlic bread.
Despite the carnivorous identity, vegetarian dishes and burgers are also available. Starters and bar snacks can be ordered between the lunch and dinner services, making Cannibale Royale Lange Niezel particularly convenient for visitors wanting to eat later in the evening.
