Escape

Located directly on Rembrandtplein, Escape is one of the biggest and most established names in Amsterdam nightlife. The club is known for its large dance floor, powerful sound system, colourful lighting, live entertainment and energetic atmosphere.

The main club can accommodate up to 1,500 guests and features multiple levels, a prominent main stage and several VIP areas. Depending on the event, smaller spaces such as Escape deLux and the Royal Room may also open, offering different music styles and a more intimate atmosphere.

Each evening has its own concept. Music ranges from house and electronic dance music to urban, hip-hop, R&B and recognisable commercial hits. Fridays and Saturdays attract the largest crowds, while the club’s weekday parties make Escape one of the few major Amsterdam nightclubs open seven nights a week.

Escape attracts a young and highly international audience. It is particularly suited to visitors looking for a polished, accessible and energetic night out rather than Amsterdam’s more experimental or underground club scene. VIP tables with private seating, drinks and expedited entrance are available for groups wanting a more exclusive experience.

Check the agenda before buying tickets, as the music and atmosphere can differ considerably each night. Dress smartly, bring an original form of identification and arrive in a small group. Escape reserves the right to refuse groups larger than four people, and an advance ticket does not automatically guarantee admission.
