Hesp is one of Amsterdam's most iconic cafés and has been a fixture on the banks of the Amstel since 1890. Originally known as Café De Posthoorn, the business grew into much more than a neighbourhood pub, with a distillery, liquor store and even a lemonade factory that once produced its own Hespi Cola. Today, Café-Restaurant Hesp combines the atmosphere of a traditional Dutch brown café with a lively all-day restaurant.
