Despite its misleading name, Hotel de Goudfazant is not a hotel but a celebrated restaurant hidden inside a vast former industrial warehouse in Amsterdam-Noord. The enormous dining room combines exposed steel, playful red chairs, linen-covered tables and a striking chandelier, resulting in a setting that feels raw, elegant and unmistakably Amsterdam.

The kitchen serves a regularly changing three-course menu featuring seasonal meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Everything is thoughtfully prepared without becoming overly formal, while dishes can also be ordered à la carte.
