About
Hotel Mercier
Hotel Mercier is one of the Jordaan's hidden gems, housed in the former headquarters of the Catholic charitable organisation Ons Huis. Originally built in the early twentieth century, the building has been beautifully restored into an elegant boutique hotel where historic architecture meets luxurious contemporary design. Inspired by the glamorous Art Deco era, the interiors feature velvet furnishings, brass accents, marble details and rich colours that create an atmosphere of timeless sophistication.
The individually designed rooms combine classic elegance with modern comfort, offering luxurious bedding, rainfall showers, premium amenities and carefully curated decorative details. Throughout the hotel, original architectural features have been preserved, adding character and authenticity to every space. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the stylish restaurant, relax with a cocktail in the intimate bar or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere after a day exploring Amsterdam.
Located in the heart of the Jordaan, Hotel Mercier is surrounded by charming canals, independent boutiques, art galleries and some of Amsterdam's best cafΓ©s and restaurants. The Anne Frank House is only a few minutes' walk away, while the Nine Streets, Dam Square and the Canal Belt are all easily reached on foot. Its exceptional location allows guests to experience one of Amsterdam's most authentic neighbourhoods without relying on public transport.
Combining historic charm, elegant interiors and outstanding hospitality, Hotel Mercier offers a refined boutique experience that perfectly reflects the character of the Jordaan.
