Jimmy Woo is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic and internationally recognised nightclubs. Located on Leidseplein, the club is known for its exclusive atmosphere, striking design and stylish crowd. The venue is spread across two distinctive floors. Upstairs, an intimate lounge with velvet seating, its own bar and a glowing dance floor creates an elegant setting for drinks and socialising. Downstairs is the main club, where a dramatic ceiling containing more than 12,000 individually controlled lights moves in rhythm with the music. The low ceiling, powerful sound system and constantly changing light patterns create an immersive dance-floor experience.

Music varies depending on the event, with local and international DJs playing combinations of hip-hop, R&B, house and electronic music. Both floors have their own DJ booth, bar and VIP tables, allowing guests to move between the energetic main room and the more intimate lounge throughout the night.

Jimmy Woo attracts a fashionable, international crowd and maintains a selective door policy. Dressing well is an important part of the experience, and booking tickets or a VIP table in advance is strongly recommended. Good to know: Bring a valid physical ID; photographs or digital copies are not accepted. The dress code is “dress to impress”. Sportswear, men’s shorts, sandals, slippers and caps are not permitted.
