Pelusa
About
Pelusa
Pelusa combines the relaxed atmosphere of a neighbourhood pub with the food and drinks of a serious modern restaurant. Located beside the water in Amsterdam-Noord, it feels warm, informal and pleasantly removed from the busy city centre.
The Argentine-style parrilla forms the heart of the kitchen. Meat, fish and vegetables are cooked over an open fire, while the compact menu changes regularly with the seasons. Expect robust flavours, creative snacks and larger dishes designed for sharing.
Drinks are equally important. Pelusa specialises in wild and spontaneously fermented beers, with rotating taps and an extensive collection of bottles. Natural wines and characterful ciders provide excellent alternatives for guests who are less interested in beer.
You can visit for a complete dinner, but Pelusa works equally well for several snacks and an unusual bottle. During warmer weather, its waterside terrace makes it an especially attractive destination.
