Proeflokaal De Ooievaar is one of Amsterdam's most authentic drinking establishments and one of the smallest tasting rooms in the Netherlands. Located at the entrance to the Zeedijk, just a short walk from Central Station, the cosy brown café has been a favourite among locals and visitors for many years. The tasting room is especially famous for its extensive collection of traditional Dutch genevers and old Dutch liqueurs from Distilleerderij A. van Wees, whose roots date back to the eighteenth century.
