Rosewood Amsterdam

Rosewood Amsterdam brings a new level of luxury to the city. Located inside the monumental former Palace of Justice on the Prinsengracht, the hotel occupies one of the most remarkable historic buildings in Amsterdam. Studio Piet Boon carefully transformed the landmark into an elegant contemporary hotel while preserving its original architecture, imposing corridors and stately character.

The hotel features 134 beautifully designed rooms and suites, including five exclusive Signature Houses with a more private, residential feel. Many rooms overlook the canals, peaceful courtyards or Amsterdam’s historic rooftops. More than 1,000 artworks are displayed throughout the property, giving Rosewood the atmosphere of a private gallery.

Dining is another highlight. Restaurant Eeuwen serves refined, seasonal dishes built around ingredients from the Netherlands and neighbouring regions. The Court is the hotel’s elegant all-day meeting place for coffee, pastries, afternoon tea and aperitivo, while cocktail bar Advocatuur produces its own PRØVO jenever in an in-house distillery.

Guests also have access to the luxurious Asaya Spa, an indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and tranquil inner gardens designed by Piet Oudolf. Despite its grand scale, Rosewood feels calm, intimate and deeply connected to Amsterdam.
