Tannay
About
Tannay
Tannay is one of Amsterdam's most exciting fine dining restaurants and occupies the former home of the legendary De Gouden Reael. Opened in 2024, the restaurant is named after the village of Tannay in Burgundy, where chef Thomas Demuth grew up and where his parents still produce wine. Under the guidance of renowned chef Alain Caron and his family, Demuth created a restaurant that combines classic French cuisine with a contemporary touch. The menu is deeply rooted in Burgundy traditions and showcases rich sauces, refined preparations and high-quality seasonal ingredients. Guests can choose between an elaborate chef's menu and à la carte dishes, while the wine list explores Burgundy, Loire and Champagne. Several wines produced by chef Demuth's family are also available. The romantic interior, open kitchen and beautiful waterside terrace overlooking an old drawbridge make Tannay one of Amsterdam's most idyllic dining destinations.
